Once you have successfully registered your account and logged in, you can access the community your account is linked to by:
Navigating to ' My Community' in the top navigation:
Searching for your community using the Search bar on the homepage or;
Searching for your community using the dropdown found in 'Discover' > 'Communities'.
*Currently, it is only possible to link one community with a single account. As the need for adding additional team members/multiple communities to a single account becomes greater, Splash will consider adding these features for Splash community managers.
Icons are used to represent the associated connections that any given blockchain or community has in its ecosystem.
To familiarize yourself with the icons used on Splash and their meaning, please navigate to the floating 'i' icon found to the bottom right of any page you are on and click it.
Network icons: Showcasing all of the collections, tokens, apps, games and locations connected to web3 communities.
Utilities icons: Showcasing the utility of collections and tokens in the apps and games they are used in.
Splash uses a weighted algorithm that improves the discoverability of a Community based on the number of connections associated with it and more importantly, how active a Community is on the platform.
*The quality of each Community listing is also taken into account, with optimized listings reaping more of the benefits - see Community Listing Optimization below.
From the 'My Community' tab, a user is able to edit their community's general information and add/connect any of their ecosystem's apps, games, locations, tokens, collections, funding proposals, jobs and partner communities to their listing.
Hover over the item which you would like to update and click on it.

*Community managers can choose to add any apps, events, games and more directly from the 'Community' tab by scrolling down their listing in edit mode, but for the sake of this walkthrough, we will look at each section individually in the pages that follow using the prerequisite tabs found in the 'My Community' dashboard.
Splash is a living web3 community directory that is indexed in search engines like Google and as such holds a ton of SEO (search engine optimization) value for communities to be discovered organically and grow their following.
Paying attention to a few optimization best practices can help to increase organic search traffic to your listing. All you need to do is:
Use brand keyword/s as your community name and your URL stub e.g. Splash - this is the H1 (heading) tag that tells Google what brand your listing page is associated with and is typically the keyword someone will search to find your project.
Craft a descriptive community headline that makes use of brand/industry keywords and describes the value/service your community provides and who you serve. Avoid stuffing this with keywords and always write for humans. Experiment with adding a Call-To-Action at the end of your headline to prompt visitors to click through e.g. Join the Next Wave of Web3 by Showcasing Your Community, Gamifying Your Token Distribution and Growing Your Following With Splash. Get Started Here!
Use brand keyword/s at the very beginning/first sentence of your community description. Make sure that you create a compelling introduction that includes industry keywords and showcases who you are, what you do and how you help your key customers e.g. Revolutionizing digital discovery, interaction and ownership, Splash is at the forefront of community engagement and digital sovereignty. Discover Web3 communities, collections, tokens, games and apps across multiple blockchains including Cardano, Polygon, Ethereum, Hedera, Klatyn and more. Play games, win NFTs and token prizes. Get rewarded for staking, holding, recycling and converting.
*Keep these optimization best practices in mind when adding any other connections to your community such as apps, games, funding proposals and more. The better optimized your entire listing is, the greater the likelihood that you will be found in Search.
Organizations represent groups that have a larger number of partner members than a normal Community would and wish to highlight those relationships as part of the greater Organization.
Organizations typically include blockchain foundations, entertainment/gaming networks, and other entities that have a portfolio of companies under their banner.
Communities wishing to change their Community Listing to an Organization can contact Splash via Twitter.
