🎨Collections & Tokens

Splash already lists hundreds of Cardano NFT collections and fungible tokens with many more being added across multiple chains as more projects are onboarded.

Adding/Connecting A Collection

To connect a collection at the Community level that is already listed on the Splash platform:

1. Navigate to your profile dashboard in 'My Communities'.

2. Navigate to the 'Collections' tab.

3. Click on the '+ Collection' button.

4. Type in the name of your collection/s.

3. Click on the collection name.

4. Click 'Save'.

If your Community's collection is not currently listed on Splash, please send us a DM on Twitter with the policy ID of your collection so we can list it , and you can connect it.

Adding/Connecting A Token

To connect a token at the Community level that is already listed on the Splash platform:

1. Navigate to your profile dashboard in 'My Communities' and select the 'Community' tab.

2. Scroll down your Community listing page to the 'Tokens' section and click '+ Token' button.

3. Type in the name of your token/s.

4. Click on the token name.

5. Click 'Save'.

If your Community's token is not currently listed on Splash, please send us a DM on Twitter with the policy ID of your token so we can list it , and you can connect it.

Setting Collection/Token Utility in Apps & Games

Adding associated assets to your community is especially important when it comes to showcasing the utility and benefits of owning them in relation to how they are used in your apps and games.

To set the utility of your collection/token in an app/game:

1. Navigate from your profile dashboard in 'My Communities':

2. Navigate to the 'Apps'/'Games' tab and select the app/game you'd like to edit.

3. Click 'Edit' and scroll down to the 'Collections'/'Tokens' section with collections/tokens that you have already connected at the Community level.

4. Click on the icon next to the colleciton/token you'd like to set the utility for.

Token utility items that can be updated include:

• Type - Set whether the token is required/recommended in order to use the app/play the game

• Description - Describe what benefits the token promises for its holders

• Utility checkbox - Check all utilities the token has in relation to the app/game

• Utility description/s - Describe the utility in relation to the app/game

• Links - Add links (if any) that expands on the specific utility selected

5. Once you've added the utility information, click 'Save'.

6. Hover over the utility icon of the corresponding token you edited to preview its utility.

While there is a diverse range of utilities available to set for collections/tokens that should apply to most Web3 Communities, new utilities are being created every day. Splash welcomes suggestions on adding more utilities as their applications become more commonplace in the Web3 ecosystem.
